About this Retreat

“Being Enough” is a 90-minute online mini-retreat for anyone challenged personally or professionally to always be doing more.  “Being Enough” is for anyone who's ever wondered what would happen to their lives, personally or professionally, if they embraced the saying that "enough is enough."

This mini-retreat is an invitation to step back from our routines and duties to consider what “enough” could look like and feel like in our workplaces, our homes, and our communities.

This retreat offers each participant the gift of protected time to reflect on their values, to listen for the wisdom from within ourselves and others, and to pursue deeper integrity, wholeness, and alignment in our personal and professional lives.

Being Enough is grounded in the following principles

  • That each one of us seeks wholeness and meaning.
  • In our quest for wholeness and meaning we require reflection and inquiry.
  • And that reflection and inquiry require both the privacy of solitude and the comfort and challenge of community.
  • Together, solitude and community create the conditions where each one of us can access our inner wisdom and strength to guide us forward with integrity and grace.

Practices we’ll engage in

  • Multiple modes of stimulating reflection that may include images, poetry, visualization or music.
  • Time for quiet, individual reflection.
  • Community support through paired, small group and whole group conversations.

These principles and practices are inspired by the work of The Center for Courage and Renewal.  Supportive guidelines will promote trustworthy, confidential space.
