In 1974, The Famous PEOPLE Player’s black light theatre company was founded by Diane Dupuy to support and empower it’s performers who are developmentally challenged. Liberace saw the show and became an instant fan. He signed them on the spot to open his act in Las Vegas.
Famous PEOPLE Players have dazzled viewers in the Emmy Award-winning CBS Movie of the Week, “Special People” as well, this group of talented Canadian artists has delighted audiences at Radio City Music Hall, on Broadway, Phil Donahue, Regis and Kathy Lee, and Good Morning America.
The Famous PEOPLE Players were featured on the Food Network’s #1 series Chef at Large and an episode of Aaron Spelling’s award winning 7th Heaven.
