Flu Preparedness Plan

Rosedale United Church has published a Preparedness Plan in the event of a worsening H1N1 Flu pandemic.  The full plan is found below, but here is the essence of it :

As a public space and with responsibility to the community that gathers here, we will :

Inform   -   Reduce Risks   -   Respond with compassion

We will keep the congregation aware of current accurate and trustworthy information from public health sources.  You can visit these by the links below.

We will take such steps as necessary in the building to reduce risks of transmission of a virus, through regular cleaning of common areas, and availability of hand sanitizers.   We will advise visitors and members to be prudent in their hygeine and to not attend events if they believe they may be feeling symptoms of flu.

We will stay in touch with any who develop symptoms of flu to offer care and support, and will invite people to talk with us freely about fears and anxieties that arise from this situation.
